Pas Chih Bayad Kard ay Aqwam-e-Sharq ("What Then Is To Be Done, O Nations of the East?", 1936) is a late Persian mathnavi of Muhammad Iqbal on the spiritual and political state of the East, with chapters on the wisdom of Moses and of Pharaoh, on poverty and the free man, on the Shariah, and on the divisions of India and the Arabs. It is printed with Musafir ("The Traveller", 1934), his verse account of a journey to Afghanistan, with visits to the tombs of Babur, Sanai and Sultan Mahmud and a closing address to the king.
