Ο Σάνσελλορ
By Jules Verne (translated by Panagiotes I. Phermpos)
In 1869 the steamship Chancellor sails from Charleston for Liverpool with a cargo of cotton, and a fire in the hold forces her passengers and crew into a desperate struggle at sea. Verne tells it as the diary of a passenger, in Phermpos's Greek, as hunger and fear strip away the veneer of civilised company.
